The Uttar Pradesh police have ramped up security and support measures for the smooth conduct of the police recruitment examination in Lucknow, scheduled from August 23 to 31. The exam will witness participation from hundreds of candidates across the state.

Addressing ANI on the preparations, Joint Commissioner (Law & Order) Amit Verma stated that teams will be stationed at the exam centres, not only for security purposes but also to assist students. Additionally, Government Railway Police (GRP) SP Prashant Verma confirmed the establishment of a dedicated help desk to resolve any candidate-related issues.

Prashant Verma further mentioned, 'A lot of candidates will come from other districts. A help desk has been set up to ensure that students do not face any problems and are informed about the facilities provided by the administration.' A comprehensive security presence has been arranged, including deployments from the Rapid Action Force (RAF), police, civil defense, GRP, and Railway Protection Force (RPF).
