BusinessWire India New Delhi [India], July 19: Reckitt, a world leader in consumer health and hygiene, marked the conclusion of Pride Month 2024 by hosting a Human Library and Queer Flea Market at its Gurugram headquarters. Senior leadership and employees from across Reckitt attended, underscoring the company's role as a strong ally for the LGBTQIA++ community.

The Human Library, organized in partnership with the Naz Foundation, offered employees a chance to hear the life stories of community members. Esteemed speakers like Anjali Gopalan, Founder of Naz Foundation India, and LGBTQIA+ advocates Chandra Ji and Bobby Ji, shared their experiences. Following the library, a Queer Flea Market featured entrepreneurs from the LGBTQIA++ community, such as Rajinder, Hira, Mona, and Avinash, who set up stalls displaying their products. Ravi Bhatnagar, Director of External Affairs and Partnerships, SOA, Reckitt, emphasized the company's ongoing commitment to inclusivity and equality.

Abhishikta Das, Regional HR Director, South Asia, Reckitt, remarked on the company's efforts to create a safe and inclusive workplace, highlighting various initiatives aimed at empowering LGBTQIA++ individuals. These initiatives include sensitization activities and targeted interventions designed to bridge the gap of inequality.

Throughout June, Reckitt organized multiple activations to support and empower the LGBTQIA++ community. Among these were the 'Stronger Together' panel discussion and the 'Unleash the Rainbow' awareness campaign. The company also introduced Conscious Inclusion Modules for its employees to foster an inclusive environment where everyone can be their authentic selves.
