Former Pakistan cricketer Saeed Ajmal recently recounted his joy at dismissing legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar in international cricket. Ajmal described the moment as very special, expressing immense respect for Tendulkar whom he regards as a great cricketer and a wonderful human being.

Ajmal, who spoke during the launch of the GloFans High School Cricket Cup in Sharjah and Ajman, shared that Tendulkar's advice once helped him dismiss former right-hand batter Kevin Pietersen. Ajmal reminisced about their encounter in a league match in 2010, where Tendulkar advised him to bowl 'dusra' to get Pietersen out. This strategy proved successful, and Ajmal secured multiple wickets, earning praise from Tendulkar.

Known as the 'Master Blaster', Tendulkar holds numerous records in international cricket, including the highest run-scorer with 34,357 runs. His accolades feature 100 centuries, the first-ever double hundred in ODIs, and contributions to India's 2011 World Cup victory. Tendulkar also played for the Mumbai Indians franchise, leading them to an IPL victory in 2013.
