Sharjah Council Reviews 'Isnad Initiative' to Boost Housing Projects

Sharjah [UAE], September 11 (ANI/WAM): Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, chaired a critical meeting on Tuesday at the Sharjah Ruler's Office. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, was also in attendance. The council examined various topics aimed at monitoring governmental performance and enhancing services to align with Sharjah's ongoing growth across multiple sectors, ensuring a high standard of living for its residents.

The agenda included a review of the 'Isnad Initiative' report, designed to manage housing project implementations. The initiative empowers beneficiaries to complete their housing projects from a selection of 155 approved designs. 'Isnad' projects stand out for their rapid completion, value alignment, free designs, and use of green concrete in construction.

The council approved the 'Isnad Initiative' recommendations, poised to boost operational efficiency and accommodate more housing projects due to heightened citizen interest. Thus far, 448 housing units have been completed, with 436 units under construction and several approved transactions in progress. Moreover, the council endorsed recommendations from the Sharjah International Airport Authority report, aiming to deliver superior services and facilities to airlines and passengers while ensuring seamless operations within the airport. This includes improvements for departing, arriving, and transit passengers.
