Williams F1 team has identified an 'easy fix' for driver Alex Albon's car after it was disqualified from the Dutch Grand Prix qualifying for having an overly wide floor.

Despite the setback, Albon, who had initially qualified in eighth place, will start from the back of the grid in Sunday's race. His teammate, Logan Sargeant, who experienced a major crash in practice, will begin from 19th place.

'There was only one area of non-compliance in the car, and it's an easy fix,' stated team boss James Vowles. Vowles detailed that the floor had been thoroughly scanned and results shown to the FIA demonstrated legal compliance. However, the team accepts the FIA's final adjudication and aims to understand the measurement discrepancy.

Williams is optimistic about their performance despite the setback, with Vowles confident in the car's ability to climb through the field.
