Celebrations erupted outside the AAP headquarters on Friday after the Supreme Court granted bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was implicated in a corruption case lodged by the CBI concerning the excise policy 'scam'.

AAP leaders and workers gathered outside the party headquarters, distributing sweets and bursting crackers to celebrate their leader's release.

At the chief minister's residence, Kejriwal's wife, Sunita Kejriwal, along with senior AAP leaders, participated in celebrations as supporters chanted slogans and distributed sweets. Senior AAP leaders also condemned what they described as BJP's failed attempt to imprison opposition leaders.

Several AAP workers danced to the beats of 'dhols' outside the headquarters, where Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj and Cabinet Minister Gopal Rai described the event as a 'big victory' for the party. Kejriwal was initially arrested by the ED in a related money laundering case and later by the CBI in a separate excise policy case while in Tihar jail.
