Senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Thursday urged Muslims to abandon their 'fashion' of opposing the BJP and develop a 'passion' for the party.

In a sharp critique of the opposition, Naqvi accused the 'feudal sultans of the so-called secular syndicate' of instilling fear among Muslims, leading to their distrust of the 'nationalist political party.' Speaking at the BJP Minority Morcha Membership Drive Workshop, he stressed the need to convert this distrust into trust.

Naqvi highlighted the BJP's non-discriminatory development policies and the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to promote inclusive governance. He dismissed accusations of being 'anti-Constitution' as feudal attempts to obscure the truth and lauded the proposed Waqf (Amendment) Bill for promoting constitutional order.
