Diksha's father Col Naren Dagar reported that Diksha is unharmed and will continue her preparations for the competition set to begin on August 7. However, Diksha's mother has been hospitalized with a suspected spinal injury and will undergo further tests.
The accident happened when their car collided with another vehicle as they were crossing an intersection. Despite the incident, Diksha is determined to compete in her second Olympic Games.
