A devastating accident occurred near Umariya village on Wednesday morning as a family of three was struck and killed by a passenger train while recording a video on the railway tracks, according to police reports.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Ahmad, aged 26, his wife Najneen, aged 24, and their three-year-old son Abdulla. They were residents of Shekh Tola, Laharpur, in the Sitapur district.

Kheri Town Kotwali's in-charge, Ajeet Kumar, stated that the tragic incident happened while the family was making a social media reel. The bodies have been dispatched for post-mortem examinations, and further legal proceedings are in progress.
