Tragic Incident in Patna: Four Labourers Die While Cleaning Septic Tank
Four labourers lost their lives after inhaling toxic gases while cleaning a septic tank in the Barh Police Station area of Patna. Despite efforts to rescue them, including sending an ambulance with oxygen support, the labourers were declared dead upon arrival at the Barh Sub Divisional Hospital.

Four labourers died upon inhaling toxic gases while cleaning a septic tank on the outskirts of Patna on Wednesday, according to an official statement.
The tragic incident occurred in the Barh Police Station area of Patna district. Additional SP Aprajit Lohan reported that the labourers entered the septic tank of a house in Purai Bagh locality.
After some time, the labourers started to feel suffocated and cried out for help. An ambulance equipped with an oxygen support system was rushed to the scene. However, by the time they were retrieved from the tank, they had already lost consciousness. Doctors at Barh Sub Divisional Hospital declared them dead upon arrival, Lohan added.
