The body of a 68-year-old man named Kuldeep Tondon was discovered with wrist injuries in his residence at Malviya Nagar, South Delhi, police reported on Saturday. Initial investigations point toward suicide.

A police control room (PCR) call alerted authorities to a suicide at a house in B Block, Malviya Nagar, on Friday. When police arrived, they found the doors locked from the inside, necessitating the help of a keymaker to gain entry.

Inside, Kuldeep Tondon was found lying on the floor with injuries on his wrist. He had been living alone after a recent quarrel with his wife, who had gone to stay with relatives. The body has been sent to the AIIMS mortuary for postmortem. Further legal action will follow the report.
