Two individuals who were critically injured in attacks at London's Notting Hill Carnival earlier this week have died, the police announced on Saturday.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that Cher Maximen, a 32-year-old mother, succumbed to her injuries early Saturday after being stabbed on August 25. The suspect, a 20-year-old local man, is facing murder charges.

Police also reported the death of 41-year-old Mussie Imnetu, who was found unconscious with a head injury on Monday night. The chef, visiting from Dubai, died later from his injuries. A 31-year-old man has been charged in connection with Imnetu's death.
