Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav has made serious allegations against BJP workers, claiming their involvement in the recent communal unrest in Bahraich. Drawing parallels to the methods of Hitler, Yadav accused the BJP of granting rioters undue liberty to foment violence without enforcement interventions.
Addressing media at the party's headquarters, Yadav highlighted the alleged inaction of police during the Bahraich unrest. A viral video purportedly shows lack of police presence amid violence, fuelling Yadav's claims of orchestrated disorder by the ruling party to divert attention from pressing issues like inflation and unemployment.
Further criticizing the integrity of upcoming elections, Yadav accused BJP-affiliated officials of manipulating electoral processes. FIRs have been filed post the Mahrajganj violence incident, adding to the tensions as accusations of administrative misconduct under BJP governance continue to mount.
