The Bihar government is set to collaborate with the BCCI for a significant revamp of the Moin-ul-Haq Stadium in Patna. This development was confirmed after a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

According to S Siddharth, Additional Chief Secretary, the cabinet approved an MoU with the BCCI, aimed at converting the stadium into a world-class venue complete with state-of-the-art facilities. Post-construction, the BCCI will manage the stadium's sporting activities for seven years before profits are shared equally with the Bihar government.
