BJP MP C P Joshi has formally requested the Lok Sabha Speaker to revoke the passport of Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition, citing his recent remarks in the US as 'anti-national activities.'
In his letter to Speaker Om Birla, Joshi accused Gandhi of misusing his position and called for his resignation. He condemned Gandhi's comments on unemployment and the RSS in the US, stating they undermine India's international stature.
Rajasthan BJP general secretary Jitendra Gothwal supported Joshi's demands, suggesting Gandhi should also lose his parliamentary membership for allegedly tarnishing India's global reputation.
