National Conference (NC) vice president Omar Abdullah on Wednesday accused the BJP of attempting to boost independent candidates in Kashmir to form a coalition government with them.
Speaking after filing his nomination papers, Abdullah expressed confidence that voters would not allow BJP's alleged ploy to succeed, citing media reports on BJP's strategies.
Addressing the inclusion of independent candidates, Abdullah stated it is crucial to understand their agenda once their papers are accepted. He also criticized former party MLA Ishfaq Jabbar, asserting that he failed to meet his promises to the people of Ganderbal, ultimately prompting Abdullah to re-enter the electoral race.
