Hundreds Gather to Honor Life of Poonam Chand Yadav, Father of MP Chief Minister
Poonam Chand Yadav, father of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, was cremated on Wednesday in Ujjain. The funeral procession began at the chief minister's house and moved through main roads. The 100-year-old passed away on Tuesday evening after a prolonged illness. Numerous dignitaries attended the funeral.

Poonam Chand Yadav, the father of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, was cremated on Wednesday on the banks of the Kshipra River in the presence of dignitaries, ministers, and the public.
The funeral procession commenced from the chief minister's residence and traversed the main roads of Ujjain before concluding at the river banks. Poonam Chand Yadav's eldest son performed the cremation rites.
Poonam Chand Yadav, aged 100, passed away on Tuesday evening following a prolonged illness, according to officials. The chief minister, along with his Cabinet colleagues, stood on a flower-adorned truck that carried the mortal remains.
Dignitaries in attendance included Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot, MP Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Jyotiraditya Scindia, Deputy Chief Ministers Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla, MP BJP President Vishnu Dutt Sharma, and state Cabinet Ministers Kailash Vijaywargiya and Tulsi Silawat.
