Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda asserted that the upcoming Haryana assembly elections are a two-way battle solely between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). During a public meeting on Sunday, the former Haryana Chief Minister advised voters to refrain from supporting minor parties and emphasized the need for a change in governance.

"Today in Haryana, the battle is between Congress and BJP... Do not waste your vote on anyone who is trying to get in from the middle... It is time to change the government here. It's been 10 years, you must have seen. Just look at the work we have done during our reign and then look at the work that they have done," said Hooda, urging voters to compare the records of the past Congress government with the current BJP administration.

Hooda also revealed some key promises from the Congress manifesto, including an increase in pension amounts for the elderly to Rs 6,000 and the provision of LPG cylinders at Rs 500. He expressed confidence in the support of Haryana's populace, predicting a Congress victory in the forthcoming elections.
