BJP Confident Despite Congress-NC Alliance in Jammu and Kashmir
Union Minister Jitendra Singh expressed confidence in BJP forming the next government in Jammu and Kashmir despite the pre-poll alliance between Congress and National Conference for the assembly elections. He accompanied BJP candidates in filing their nominations and credited PM Modi for restoring peace in the region.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh, exuding confidence that BJP will form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir, dismissed any impact from the pre-poll alliance between Congress and National Conference for the upcoming assembly elections.
Singh visited Doda district to support BJP candidates Shakti Raj Parihar and Gajay Singh Rana, who filed their nomination papers. The minister praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for restoring peace in the region, allowing Congress leaders to roam freely and enjoy local amenities.
Regarding the restoration of statehood, Singh stated that assurances had already been given by PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. He remained confident that the coalition between Congress and National Conference will have no effect on BJP's election prospects.
