Army troops on Friday recovered a landmine along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, officials reported.
An Army patrol team discovered the landmine in the Pattri Gali area while conducting regular patrols along the LoC. The patrol party promptly secured the area and summoned the bomb disposal squad to neutralize the mine.
According to officials, the landmine had drifted onto the patrol track due to recent heavy rains.
