Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized the BJP-led state government's commitment to its promises on Monday, asserting that the administration had taken several public welfare decisions during its 10-year rule. Unlike the Congress, which he claimed failed to deliver on its promises, the BJP fulfilled its commitments, he stated.
With the Haryana Assembly polls scheduled for October 1 and results to be declared on October 4, the BJP is aiming for a third consecutive term. Addressing a gathering after inaugurating the party's state election office in Rohtak, Chief Minister Saini expressed confidence in the BJP's return to power, asserting that people in Haryana have recognized the party's efforts towards equitable development over the past decade.
Saini pointed to the provision of over 1.50 lakh government jobs as a major achievement, suggesting that merit-based recruitment had restored faith among the youth, contrasting sharply with the Congress' alleged favoritism. He also highlighted welfare measures such as LPG cylinder subsidies under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and land possession deliverables for poor families, urging party workers to spread the word about the government's achievements and remain vigilant against opposition misinformation.
