Candidates File Nomination Papers for Ramban Elections
On Friday, two candidates filed their nomination papers in Ramban district for the first phase of elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Imtiaz Ahmed Shan from PDP and Suteesh Kumar, an Independent candidate, have submitted their paperwork. The elections are scheduled for September 18, with vote counting on October 4.

Two candidates, including one from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), filed their nomination papers on Friday in Ramban district, ahead of the first phase of elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
Ramban is among 24 assembly constituencies in the Jammu and Kashmir divisions set to go to the polls on September 18.
According to the returning officers for the assembly constituencies of Ramban and Banihal, each received one candidate nomination on Friday.
Imtiaz Ahmed Shan from the PDP submitted his papers for Banihal, while Suteesh Kumar filed as an Independent candidate from Ramban. The final day for filing nominations is August 27, with vote counting scheduled for October 4.
