Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working President KTR has announced protests across all Mandal and Constituency centres on August 22, seeking an unconditional loan waiver for farmers in the state. KTR declared that while the Chief Minister claims loans up to two lakh rupees have been waived, contradictory statements from ministers indicate the process is incomplete.

KTR highlighted that many farmers are agitating as they have not benefited from the Congress party's loan waiver scheme. He referenced pre-election promises made by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, noting a requirement of Rs40,000 crores for waivers but only Rs18,000 crores spent so far. KTR criticized state Congress leaders for adding to the confusion instead of supporting distressed farmers.

KTR claimed that barely 40% of farmers reaped benefits from the loan waiver, forcing many to repeatedly visit government offices due to the Congress government's stance. He called for an immediate announcement of up to two lakh rupees waiver for every farmer and assured that BRS will continue to fight until an unconditional waiver is granted.
