Muhammad Yunus, the interim government chief of Bangladesh, accused former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of destabilizing the nation's institutions to stay in power. In his address, Yunus emphasized the need for comprehensive reforms and committed to holding a free, fair, and participatory election.
Yunus highlighted several issues inherited from the Hasina administration, including a damaged judiciary, suppressed democratic rights, and economic mismanagement.
