In a vehement critique of the Modi-led Centre, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi questioned the government's effectiveness in tackling terrorism in Jammu. Referencing the recent surge in attacks, he asked, 'If the policy is 'Ghar mein ghus kar marenge', what's happening?'

During a press briefing, Owaisi highlighted the shortcomings of the central government, branding the spate of attacks as a stark failure. 'PM Modi used to say, 'Ghar mein ghus kar marenge'. What is this then? This is a failure of the government. They are unable to control terrorism. What happened in Doda is very dangerous,' Owaisi stated.

The Hyderabad MP also questioned the competency of the Jammu and Kashmir DGP, RR Swain. Owaisi alleged that Swain was attempting to obscure his inadequacies by making unsubstantiated claims about Pakistan's infiltration. 'What the hell is DGP doing over there?' Owaisi asked, pointing out the terrorist attack in Doda, a region far from the LoC.

Owaisi further scrutinized the government's intelligence network and its engagement with the local populace. He questioned why local youths were not being taken into confidence and why the Centre's measures since the abrogation of Article 370 had failed. 'This is a failure of Narendra Modi's government. The DGP should not become a spokesperson for the ruling party. If he intends, he should join the BJP,' Owaisi said.

Meanwhile, the Congress party also took a swipe at the Centre, revealing on 'X' that within 38 days of BJP's third term, nine terrorist attacks occurred, resulting in 12 soldier casualties and multiple civilian deaths and injuries.
