Nara Lokesh, Andhra Pradesh's Human Resource Development Minister, has initiated an investigation following allegations of hidden cameras in a girls' washroom at SR Gudlavalleru Engineering College.
On Friday, Lokesh announced the enquiry, responding to viral videos showing students protesting on Thursday night, demanding justice.
Lokesh assured the public via social media that stringent measures would be taken against those responsible and directed officials to prevent recurrence of such incidents.
