Elon Musk's Massive Support for Pro-Trump PAC
Billionaire Elon Musk intends to donate around $45 million a month to a pro-Trump super political-action committee backing former President Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential bid. Despite his intent, Musk was not listed in the PAC's latest filings. Other notable donors include Lonsdale Enterprises and the Winklevoss twins.
Billionaire Elon Musk has revealed plans to commit approximately $45 million monthly to a new pro-Trump super political-action committee, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing insiders.
Although Musk indicated he would start donations to the America PAC in July, backing Donald Trump's presidential run, he was absent from the group's latest filings. Lonsdale Enterprises and the Winklevoss twins were among the notable donors, contributing significant sums.
Musk did not respond to Reuters' inquiries, dismissing the report with a meme labeled 'fake gnus,' suggesting skepticism. This endorsement marks Musk's first public support for Trump, mirroring his increasing alignment with right-wing politics, especially after a recent incident involving Trump at a rally.
