Police have apprehended four members of a gang involved in drug peddling in Mumbai, officials announced on Wednesday.

The accused were taken to a police station, where they loudly declared that they would no longer sell drugs. A video of their police-secured parade and chants went viral on social media.

Acting on specific information, the Bandra unit of the crime branch raided the Dogar area in Juhu Gulli on Tuesday evening, an official said.

During the raid, a team led by senior inspector Daya Nayak seized 80 grams of mephedrone from the suspects, he added.
