Four individuals were arrested in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, following the circulation of a video showing them allegedly savagely beating a hotel manager. This incident came to light on social media.
According to Garha police station in-charge Neelesh Dohre, the video depicted a group of people attacking a man with a belt and kicking him. The victim, identified as hotel manager Manjeet Singh Roley, said the altercation began when local resident Sonu Tiwari, who checked into the hotel on September 3, refused to present an identity card, arguing he didn't need to because he was a local.
Tiwari returned with associates the next day and attacked Roley. The police acted swiftly upon discovering the video, leading to the arrest of Tiwari, Nasir Shah, Ankit Choudhary, and Hemant Patel. Ankit Choudhary has multiple cases against him, while the others are each involved in a separate case. Authorities are continuing efforts to locate additional suspects seen in the footage.
