In a horrific family feud, two brothers were crushed to death in Chhattisgarh's Mungeli district following a dispute over ancestral property, local police reported on Tuesday.

The incident occurred on the Gigtara-Chhatan villages road under Fastarpur police station limits on Sunday, leaving a man and a woman injured, according to Mungeli Superintendent of Police (SP) Girija Shankar Jaiswal.

The altercation began with Toran Patle and his sons attacking Bhagbali, Wakil, and Kaushal with sticks near their field. Keju Ram allegedly ran over his brothers Bhagbali and Wakil with a tractor, killing them. Police are investigating, and five suspects have been detained.
