Notorious Criminal Santosh Kumar Arrested in Patna

A joint team of the Special Task Force and Patna Police arrested notorious criminal Santosh Kumar along with four associates. Kumar, involved in multiple serious crimes including bank dacoity and murder, was apprehended with cash, firearms, and mobile phones. The arrested individuals were wanted in various states.

Special Task Force and Patna Police successfully apprehended notorious criminal Santosh Kumar, known alias Bakaria, along with four associates, including a woman, on Monday.

Kumar has been implicated in multiple serious crimes such as bank dacoity, robbery, extortion, and murder. Authorities seized Rs 47,000 in cash, three handguns, five mobile phones, two ATM cards, and a motorbike during the operation.

The accused were wanted in recent cases of bank dacoity in Patna and Sheikhpura districts, and Kumar was also implicated in other severe offenses. 'All five were arrested from Patna on Monday and were also sought by neighboring state police,' the Bihar Police Headquarters' statement said.
