Four Arrested in Nagaland for Meghalaya Petrol Pump Robbery

Four individuals have been detained in Nagaland in connection with a week-old petrol pump robbery in Meghalaya, the police department disclosed on Monday.
A coordinated effort by police forces from both states led to the apprehension of the suspects, identified as Bokavi Zhimoni, Pashen Lam, Rokonngulie Keppu, and Tsalipi. They were arrested in Nagaland on Sunday, according to Superintendent of Police Jagpal S Dhanoa from Meghalaya's Ri-Bhoi district.
The suspects were presented before a court in Nongpoh, where they were remanded to police custody for five days. Reports state the accused attacked staff at a petrol pump in Niangbyrnai village on August 25, escaping with Rs 4.24 lakh in cash and three mobile phones.
