Tensions Rise as Belarus and Ukraine Fortify Borders

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced on Sunday that Ukraine has deployed over 120,000 troops along its border with Belarus, according to Russia's RIA state news agency.
Lukashenko, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, stated that Minsk has responded by sending military formations along the entire Belarusian border.
He further warned that the border is mined more extensively than ever, posing a severe threat to Ukrainian troops, who would face substantial losses if they attempted a crossing.
