Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Ukraine's 'provocation' in Russia's Kursk region has not halted the Russian military's advance in Ukraine's Donetsk region, as reported by the RIA news agency.

While visiting Russia's Tuva region, Putin mentioned that Russian forces are reclaiming territory in the Kursk region 'by square kilometres' and assured that the Ukrainian incursion force there would 'be dealt with.'
