Rajasthan Police Constable Arrested for Collecting Bribe on SHO's Behalf
A Rajasthan police constable, Bharat Ram Jat, was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau for accepting a bribe of Rs 3 lakh on behalf of SHO Dhanraj Meena. The bribe was allegedly demanded to resolve a land dispute. The SHO is currently at large, and additional charges have been filed under the Anti-Corruption and Excise Acts.

In a significant move, the Anti-Corruption Bureau apprehended Bharat Ram Jat, a police constable posted in Kota, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 3 lakh on behalf of his senior officer, SHO Dhanraj Meena.
According to ACB officials, the SHO, who initiated the bribe demand to resolve an agricultural land dispute, remains untraceable.
During a subsequent search at the SHO's residence, authorities seized liquor, prompting additional charges under the Excise Act, alongside those under the Anti-Corruption Act against the constable and SHO.
