Interstate Robbery Ring Busted: Four Arrested in Police Encounter

Four suspected interstate robbers were apprehended following a confrontation with police, officials reported on Saturday. The encounter left three of the suspects injured.
The group was allegedly preparing to rob a businessman near a canal track on the road to Govardhan. Senior Superintendent of Police Shailesh Kumar Pandey confirmed the details.
Utilizing assistance from the district's Special Operations Group (SOG), authorities surrounded the gang on Friday night. The suspects opened fire, prompting a police retaliation that resulted in injuries to three of them. The injured were later admitted to a hospital for treatment.
Abhishek Tiwari alias Sonu, the gang's leader and a resident of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, has been linked to over two dozen cases of robbery and related crimes across various districts. He has been on the run for four years.
The other arrested individuals were identified as Akash, Vishambar, and Vishnu Rana. Among the seized items were a stolen motorcycle, two police uniforms, and illegal firearms with cartridges, according to the police.
