Widow Receives Rs 15 Lakh Compensation for Teacher's Death During Election Duty
Neetu Singh, widow of Shailendra Kumar Singh, a government school teacher who died in a road accident during Lok Sabha poll duty, received a Rs 15 lakh compensation cheque from the Election Commission of India. The cheque was handed over during Independence Day celebrations in Ramgarh, Jharkhand, by Deputy Commissioner Chandan Kumar.

In a solemn ceremony on Independence Day, the widow of a government school teacher received a Rs 15 lakh compensation cheque from the Election Commission of India for her husband's death during election duty.
The cheque was presented to Neetu Singh, widow of Shailendra Kumar Singh, by Ramgarh Deputy Commissioner Chandan Kumar. The ceremony took place in Jharkhand's Ramgarh town.
Shailendra Kumar Singh, posted at the Government Upgraded High School in Sangrampur village, was killed in a road accident while on Lok Sabha poll duty. The event was also attended by Ramgarh Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar and Deputy Development Commissioner Robin Toppo.
