Ramdas Soren Takes Oath as Minister in Jharkhand Cabinet Reshuffle
JMM legislator Ramdas Soren was sworn in as a minister in the Hemant Soren government in Jharkhand, replacing former chief minister Champai Soren. The oath was administered by Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar in a ceremony attended by senior leaders. Champai Soren resigned citing dissatisfaction with government policies.

JMM legislator Ramdas Soren took the oath of office as a minister in the Hemant Soren government in Jharkhand on Friday.
The Ghatshila MLA replaced former chief minister Champai Soren in the state cabinet. The oath was administered by Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar at a Raj Bhavan function attended by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, senior leaders of the JMM-led alliance, and several government officials.
Ramdas Soren's induction into the state cabinet follows the resignation of Champai Soren as minister and MLA on Wednesday. Champai Soren, who plans to join the BJP, cited dissatisfaction with the state government's policies as his reason for leaving the JMM.
