Union Minister Jitendra Singh stressed the importance of mutual exchange of best practices and knowledge during an interaction with 16 deputy commissioners from Bangladesh. This session is part of the 'Special Capacity Building Program on Public Policy and Governance' organized by the National Centre of Good Governance (NCGG).

Singh highlighted that India's developmental programs such as PM Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and CPGRAMS are being replicated in Bangladesh, serving as role models for effective governance. The minister pointed out the deep historical and cultural bonds shared by India and Bangladesh, urging officials to identify twin districts to address common issues collaboratively.

He also commended the continued relationship of mutual trust and understanding between the two nations, reinforcing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Neighborhood 1st policy'. The NCGG's week-long training program, requested by Bangladesh, has already benefited 2,270 Bangladeshi civil servants. Singh advocates aligning national visions, emphasizing the 'Viksit Bharat 2047' and 'Smart Bangladesh Vision 2041'.
