J P Nadda Inaugurates Eastern India's Largest Eye Hospital at IGIMS
Union Health Minister J P Nadda inaugurated the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences campus, accompanied by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other officials. Nadda's two-day visit to Bihar includes various health facility inaugurations across Patna, Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Darbhanga, and Bhagalpur.

Union Health Minister J P Nadda inaugurated the newly constructed Regional Institute of Ophthalmology on the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) campus on Friday. The ceremony included the unveiling of the institute's extended building.
Accompanied by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with other Bihar ministers, Nadda highlighted the significance of the institute, built at a cost of Rs 188 crore and touted as the largest eye hospital in Eastern India.
In addition to the ophthalmology institute, Nadda laid foundational stones for several health projects worth Rs 850 crore. His visit also includes inaugurations at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Bhagalpur and Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College in Gaya.
