Himachal Pradesh's top officials, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, have expressed deep condolences to the family of Naib Subedar Rakesh Kumar, an army jawan who perished in a gunfight with terrorists in Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir.
Naib Subedar Kumar, hailing from Barnog village in Mandi district's Nachan Assembly Constituency, was honored by CM Sukhu for his ultimate sacrifice. He extended heartfelt condolences to the grieving family, emphasizing that the nation will remember the soldier's bravery forever.
Deputy CM Agnihotri echoed these sentiments, noting the state's eternal gratitude for Kumar's selfless contribution. He prayed for peace for the fallen soldier's soul and strength for his bereaved family to cope with their immense loss.
