Following a series of terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army is bolstering its security efforts in the border districts of Rajouri and Poonch. Equipped with advanced technology and weapons, the army has ramped up patrols, resulting in heightened vigilance against terror activities.
The aggressive area domination strategy involves regular Area Domination Patrols, Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs), and intelligence-driven missions focused on terrorist activities along the Line of Control (LoC) and nearby regions. The use of drones and quadcopters enhances surveillance capabilities to detect and neutralize infiltration threats.
Rashtriya Rifles troops are undertaking vigorous search operations in challenging terrains, especially in dense forests, considered hotbeds for terror incidents. Alongside these measures, the army is conducting special training sessions to refine the operational readiness of its forces in combating terrorism effectively.
