The blaze began when a tank at a depot caught fire in the Starkooskolsky District, close to the Ukrainian border. Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor, shared these details through the Telegram messaging app.
Ten fire crews were dispatched to tackle the blaze, succeeding in putting it out efficiently and preventing any further escalation. The situation is now contained, ensuring no threat to nearby areas.
