Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a crucial two-day brainstorming session in Gurugram aimed at finalizing its candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in Haryana. Discussions covered all 90 assembly seats, with sources confirming that the names finalized in this meeting will be reviewed in an upcoming Central Election Committee meeting.

The meeting was chaired by BJP's Haryana State President Mohan Lal Badauli and attended by key figures including Union Minister and Haryana Assembly Election In-charge Dharmendra Pradhan and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. Other notable attendees included Election Co-in charge Biplab Kumar Deb, Union Minister Manohar Lal, National Vice President Saudan Singh, and Central Election Committee member Sudha Yadav.

An extensive list of over 300 potential candidates was prepared, with some constituencies having up to five shortlisted names. Feedback from office bearers and workers was gathered for each assembly constituency. The first day focused on seats in five districts: Gurugram, Faridabad, Nuh, Rewari, and Palwal, while the second day was dedicated to candidates from 17 other districts.
