After returning from New Delhi on Tuesday, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha promptly convened a review meeting to assess the flood situation in the state. The meeting saw the attendance of Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan, Revenue Department Secretary, and senior officials from Public Works and Drinking Water and Sanitation Departments.

The discussions centered on evaluating the current situation and implementing measures to manage and mitigate the impact of the floods. The Chief Minister urged officials to leave no stone unturned in ensuring timely support and relief for those affected.

Earlier in the day, Dr. Saha shared on social media that intense rainfall had caused flooding in several areas of South Tripura and other districts. Relief centers have been established to support affected individuals, and district administration has been instructed to prioritize public safety and mitigate flood impacts.

According to official sources, the administration is closely monitoring the situation and providing necessary assistance to the affected populace. (ANI)
