CM Mohan Yadav Visits Shri Kshetra Valmiki Dham Ashram, Honors Tradition

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav paid a visit to Shri Kshetra Valmiki Dham Ashram in Ujjain district on Tuesday. The ashram is led by Rajya Sabha MP Balyogi Umeshnath Maharaj. CM Yadav offered flowers at the Siddh Samadhi and prayed for the state's happiness and prosperity.
In a social media post, the Chief Minister expressed his honor in visiting the ashram. 'Today, I had the privilege to visit the ashram of Rajya Sabha MP Balyogi Umeshnath Maharaj Ji at Shrikshetra Valmiki Dham in Ujjain. I worshipped at Siddh Samadhi and prayed for the state's prosperity,' CM Yadav wrote.
The ashram holds historical significance, particularly related to Gogaji Maharaj. Rajya Sabha MP Umeshnath Maharaj recounted that Gogaji Maharaj came to Ujjain's Avantika Puri to defend the Mahakal temple from Mughal invasions. Speaking to ANI, CM Yadav emphasized the site's emerging status as a pilgrimage destination, with visitors from various states bringing 'nishans' (flags) to honor Gogaji Maharaj's legacy.
