Around 1,600 iPhones, valued at Rs 12 crore, were stolen from a truck in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district, police reported on Sunday. Initial investigations suggest the involvement of the security guard accompanying the truck.

The vehicle was traveling from Haryana to Chennai when the incident occurred. Inspector-General of Police for Sagar Zone, Pramod Verma, informed ANI, "We received information that 1,600 iPhones worth Rs 12 crore have been looted. The security guard is a prime suspect. Teams have been formed to investigate the matter."

Verma added, "The container was on its way from Gurugram in Haryana to Chennai. The guard called some of his associates and overpowered the driver." Investigations are ongoing, and further details are awaited. (ANI)
