Atishi Celebrates Raksha Bandhan with Ex-Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia

In a heartwarming celebration, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi minister Atishi marked this year's Raksha Bandhan with former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Atishi shared her joy on X, sharing photographs and expressing how this year's Rakhi felt special due to Sisodia's presence. 'A thread of Rakhi binds relationships. This year the festival of Raksha Bandhan was even more special because I celebrated it with my elder brother Manish ji,' she wrote.
Manish Sisodia also took to social media on Monday, sharing an emotional post about his Raksha Bandhan celebration. He recalled last year's festival spent in jail, expressing relief and gratitude for being able to celebrate with his family this year. 'Last year I celebrated Rakshabandhan alone in jail. But this year, with the blessings of millions of sisters, I got released just before Raksha Bandhan,' Sisodia said. He thanked the public for their prayers and wished everyone a Happy Rakshabandhan.
Further, Sisodia highlighted the support from Delhi residents and their prayers for the release of other party leaders, including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Satyendar Jain. Sisodia praised Kejriwal for his transformative initiatives in education, healthcare, and women's safety, stating his belief that Kejriwal would soon be released from jail.
