In a recent development, lawyer Ashok Agarwal has called on Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi to transfer the management of MCD schools to the Delhi government. This move is aimed at ensuring better educational outcomes for students.

In his letter to the mayor, Agarwal emphasized the need for a resolution in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) House to unify school administration under one body, thereby improving the quality of education.

Agarwal's letter, dated August 30, also raised concerns about declining education standards and infrastructure issues in MCD schools. He noted that parents increasingly prefer Delhi government schools due to better quality and infrastructure, urging immediate action for the best interest of Delhi's students.
