Dharmendra Appointed as Delhi's New Chief Secretary
Senior IAS officer Dharmendra from the 1989-batch AGMUT cadre has been appointed the chief secretary of the Delhi government. He will assume his new role on September 1 or upon joining, succeeding incumbent Naresh Kumar, who completes his tenure on August 31 after two extensions.

Senior IAS officer Dharmendra of the 1989-batch AGMUT cadre has been appointed as the new chief secretary of the Delhi government.
According to an order issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, Dharmendra, who is currently posted as the chief secretary of Arunachal Pradesh, will take charge on September 1 or upon joining, whichever comes later.
Incumbent Naresh Kumar, who received two extensions from the central government previously, will complete his tenure on August 31.
